The first hotel brand to be wholly developed and created by MelcoResorts & Entertainment, Morpheus sets a new benchmark for ultra-luxury hospitality in Macau and features a spectacular collection of "world's firsts". The world's first free-form exoskeleton-bound high-rise architectural design, Morpheus incorporates a number of architectural and technological breakthroughs that make it a one-of-a-kind marvel, both inside and out.

AWE-INSPIRING LUXURY

The media were given a privileged preview at Morpheus's ultra-luxurious duplex villa. The sleek and plush rooms echo the building's groundbreaking architecture to give guests a unique and contemporary ultra-luxurious experience.

CULINARY FIRSTS

The hotel's alluring array of dining options includes a global culinary first: the World of Ducasse at Morpheus. In partnership with legendary chef Alain Ducasse, Morpheus is the first hotel in the world to feature an entire floor dedicated to two Ducasse restaurants (Alain Ducasse at Morpheus and Voyages by Alain Ducasse) and the Voyages Bar.

Among the other gastronomic highlights are: The Universe of Pierre Hermé, the first partnership between Maison Pierre Hermé Paris and a hotel property in Greater China, which brings the unique universe of tastes, sensations and pleasures created by "the Picasso of Pastry" and 2016 World's Best Pastry Chef, Pierre Hermé, to Macau; and at the Sky Bridge, which is designed by the Zaha Hadid team and is the only Chinese fine-dining restaurant in Asia to present a blend of regional Chinese cuisines served omakase-style.

WORLD-EXCLUSIVE CONCEPTS

The tour also stopped by the Morpheus Spa, which not only features a range of world-exclusive concepts, globally acclaimed brands, and cutting-edge treatment programs, but a number of world-firsts, including its in-house Spa Butler concept and Snow Garden installation -- the first spa concept in the world to feature real snow. Media also viewed Morpheus' signature Sky Pool, which is located 40 stories up, a dizzying 130 meters above the ground.

A NEW DESTINATION FOR THE COOLEST SUPER-BRANDS

Morpheus' exclusive 12,000 sq ft retail destination was another key highlight of the tour. As well as housing sought-after designer brands such as Proenza Schouler, Thom Browne and Repossi, it also features a 'gift lab' that offers an ever-evolving collection of some of the most bespoke and sought-after branded merchandise from around the world, in addition to one-of-a-kind stamp and embroidery services. Conceived as a unique and creative interactive experience for guests, the retail space at Morpheus will also host pop-ups with must-have brands and special product partnerships with contemporary artists, including concept takeovers and exclusive displays of the artists' work.

In addition, one of the stunning highlights under City of Dreams' Phase III development is the brand new innovative and dynamic World Design Space at T Galleria by DFS. It celebrates young design forces with over 30 new lifestyle brands from around the world, among which over 20 are exclusively available at World Design Space, including the all-new Mrs. Moncler pop-up store.

ART THAT THRILLS

Some of the new art installations located throughout City of Dreams include '200 LITOFAIRHOUR' (meaning 200 cubic meters of air per hour, the volume of air required to put up the installation) by French artist Charles Pétillon, in which six-meter-high fabric bubbles create a floating cloud above the energy and excitement of the ground below; 'Echoes Infinity' by Japan's Shinji Ohmaki, which comprises a corridor of exquisite floral panels; and 'Good Intentions' by KAWS, a large-scale sculpture showing two of his famous character designs as parent and child that is on display at Art on 23, a contemporary visual art gallery at Morpheus.

Mr. David Sisk, Property President of City of Dreams, Macau, said: "It's rare, even in the world of luxury, when a project of this scale maintains a focus on details to the level found here in Morpheus.  It's a game changer for Macau, a new benchmark for integrated resorts, and a perfect example of how Melco always does things differently."
